First of all by ferry boat from Croatian coast to Hvar island.

From "Split" - to "Stari Grad"
Travellers from north commonly consider this way more convinient, safe and even more effectivedue to time and travelling distance. Bigger boats offer better chance to get free place on them even during rush summer season. Target place is island town called "Stari Grad" ("Old Town") from where you can continue by new and safe road.

The other ferry departures from village "Drvenik" to "Sucuraj" on south-east end of island Hvar. Then you will continue on adventurous, romantical road but don't expect any modern and extremely safe roads.

In all cases you have to follow traffic to willage "Pitve" close to small city "Jelsa". Tunnel behind "Pitve" village (see picture) is the only way to the southern side of island Hvar where you will find a few small vilages and our place - village "Sveta Nedelja" ("Holly Sunday").
