In the stone built house situated next door to the vineyard of Zlatan Plenković, who is one of the best known Croatian vine producer, you will spend a vacation that you always wanted. The views are just breathtaking, being a perfect combination of vine green and sea blue in romantic atmosphere of silence that you really need.
Zavala is a sea-side village which has spread along the southern side of island of Hvar, one of ten most beautiful islands in the world. Here you will find sandy beaches, crystalline see, vineyards and old stone built houses. In nearby center of the village there are cafes, restaurants plus a grocer. To get to the main place on the island, town of Hvar, you will need cca 40 minutes of pleasant driving. There is plenty to do in this town rich with cultural and historical monuments, only to mention a theatre which is the oldest one in Europe.
Details of accommodation
The house is approached via a small path which passes several other traditional houses. The
house has two entrances, one to the living area and the other to the sleeping accommodation on the first floor.
The living area comprises of an open-plan kitchen/dining room with windows looking out to
the sea and vineyards. There is a dining table and chairs as well as sofa, satellite TV and CD
player, while the kitchen has a cooker and microwave stove, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
There is also a shower room /WC and washing machine on this floor.
Access to the bedrooms is via an external staircase, which takes you to two double bedrooms
(both with views to the sea) and a shower room/WC.   
The house is furnished with old style furniture, and it has air-condition.
Outside, the garden has been landscaped with a delightful range of Mediterranean plants and flowers; stone-built table with six comfortable chairs and open fire barbecue is also in the garden.
From ferry harbor of Split you will sail to Starigrad on Hvar, 1 hour and 45 minutes, and then you will drive 20 km by asphalt road from Starigrad to Zavala.
