Trips in surroundings
The small villages of Veliko Brdo, Puharici, Makarska and Kotisina
are located beneath the mountain Biokovo and bound to the town.
They are extremely attractive for those who want to make a trip,
especially because there are neatly marked paths leading to the
peaks of the mountain Biokovo. The very mountain abounds in endemic
specimens of plants and mouflons and chamois, which makes Biokovo
suitable those interested in hunting. The area of mountain Biokovo is a "NATURE PARK" (protected area). Excursions to Biokovo lasting half a day, a day or few days led by an expert and are possible alpinist and caving tours as well as recreative stay on the mountain in small cottages.

a picturesque canyon of the Cetina river.
Five kilometres up to the Cetina canyon, there is "Radmanove
