A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE MEĞUGORJE PHENOMENON

         Since June 24, 1981 when six visionaries (Mirjana, Vicka, Marija, Ivanka, Ivan and Jakov) together with the pastor at that time Fr. Jozo Zovko, gave testimony for the first time about Our Lady's apparition, Medjugorje has not ceased attracting pilgrims from all parts of the world. Millions of Catholic faithful (but not only Catholics) have now for so many years made pilgrimage to this perhaps also greatest Catholic shrine in the world, being refreshed and inspired ever anew by the strength and freshness of Our Lady's messages.

THE THREE SPIRITUAL ZONES OF THE MEĞUGORJE SHRINE

         The Shrine of Medjugorje with its three Spiritual zones - the Church, the hill of Apparition and the Cross Mountain - must be accessible to the millions of faithful who at these holy places are able to satisfy all their spiritual and religious needs.

CROATIAN - weekdays 07:30 and 18:00 (summer time 19:00); Sunday and feast days 08:00, 09:00, 11:00 and 18:00 (summer 19:00)

ENGLISH - weekdays 10:00; Sunday 12:00

GERMAN - weekdays 09:00; Sunday 09:00

ITALIAN - weekdays 11:00; Sunday 10:00

FRENCH - weekdays 12:00; Sunday 13:00

Rosary: Apparition Hill every Sunday at 14:00 (summer 16:00)

Way of the Cross: Cross Mountain every Friday 14:00 (summer 16:00)

Rosary: In Church every day before the evening mass 17:00 (summer 18:00)
