It
is said that Milna has forgotten time.
A fishing village from antiquity, this
spacious harbour with its Venetian heyday
and Roman roots, is home to a people
untouched by time. Still the fishermen
ply the waters each morning in their
tiny wooden boats; the women weave intricate
lace; the harbourfront cafes reverberate
with the animated sounds of the men
playing the traditional card games whilst
the women are beckoned to the guilded
church by the peeling of the bells.
